NFTs

There are few investors in the crypto space who don’t know about or have no interest in NFTs. NFTs, which have garnered huge interest from big players beyond the realm of art in the entertainment and gaming industry, can now be found on Stackswap.

What is Art Intelligence?

Art Intelligence mints and trades NFTs based on artwork, created with artificial intelligence developed by Stackswap. The artwork is created through the AI model interpreting a key phrase with a classic art style. The artworks have a variety of styles, from paintings in the style of Botticelli and Caravaggio, to the pop art style of the 20th century, and are produced in the style of oil paintings.

Art Intelligence Valuation

Users can mint Art Intelligence NFTs with their STX tokens on the Stackswap App, after which the value of minted NFTs are converted into their equal valuation in LBTC. After minting, users can start P2P trading on the NFT Marketplace on the Stackswap App. Some costs are paid as royalties during the minting and trading process.

the user who owns the NFT can destroy it to have the value stored within it returned to them.

What’s so special about Art Intelligence?

Some might ask the question, “Isn’t this also just another NFT?”

Art Intelligence by Stackswap proposes first-of-a-kind concepts that have not been seen in the traditional NFT markets. These are the ‘Re-touch’ and ‘Regression’ functions, referring to the common vocabulary in the AI space.

The basic mechanism of the existing NFT market was to trade the first created works. While it is possible to have multiple editions of a single work, this was mainly a way of giving visually identical work a different order.

However, Art Intelligence applies re-touching to complement saturation, color, and style. Originally, re-touching was a problem-solving action to obtain appropriate results through decision-making and color-matching technology, and usually aims to be as objecting as possible without distorting the artist’s intention, concepts, or physical characteristics.

Stackswap has designed the process of converting from first a black-and-white image to the final density and saturation of a created image. By granting users a re-touch function, we have given the users the power to adjust an image to one they are most satisfied with. In addition, we have designed the process in a way that saves a portion of the re-touching costs to the AI-generated image, so that the value of the generated image is increased at every point the NFT is re-touched.

Re-touching rights are owned by the final owner and can be done at the time of the first mint or at least 2 days after the last re-touch. The cost of the re-touch will be double the cost of the last re-touch. Re-touching is a feature and an option for owners to improve their drawings in any way.

Example of Retouching Progression

Regression (Burning)

The Regression, or Burning, feature is a concept inspired by reinterpreting the “Destructive Art” project by Gustav Metzger in the early 1960s, but for the digital world. In Destructive Art, the process of vandalizing or destroying the original piece of art was part of the progression of the art as a whole. However, in Stackswap’s Art Intelligence, the key to the regression or burn function is to permanently destroy the NFT and return the value of the stored token. What this means is, after some time, the user who owns the NFT can destroy it to have the value stored within it returned to them.

In addition, due to the disappearance and destruction of the regressed work, the total number of published Art Intelligence works is reduced, increasing the scarcity of the remaining NFTs.

Art Intelligence does not simply buy and sell NFTs but starts a new generation and culture within the Art NFT space with the added ideas behind re-touching and regression, artistic values and philosophy, and economic factors of market supply and demand.
