The next Bitcoin halving is expected to occur at Bitcoin block 840,000 and is scheduled for 2024–05–04.
Until the halving, the Stackswap team will continue to research bridge compatibility, and follow the status of bridge updates officially supported by the Stacks Foundation. Apart from the bridge, we are also preparing for user usability and new services.
In particular, we are thinking a lot about introducing new services that will further enrich the Stackswap ecosystem. The main agenda of the service targets the usability of tokens within the platform, improved UI, user participation, transaction convenience, and gamification. Each new service will focus on meeting the evolving needs and preferences of the community.
We hope that these services will provide users with a more attractive and unique experience.
Bittrex Global Winding Dow
Bittrex Global, where Stackswap tokens are listed, has decided to suspend operations. Accordingly, trading is not possible on this platform, so please withdraw STSW assets held by Bittrex Global to another location (personal wallet, exchange).
As such, the Stackswap team will have a renewed focus on bridge developments as to mitigate any effects from Bittrex Global winding down operations.
