A guide to obtaining the tokens by connecting trades from Stackswap to BTC, ETH, and USDC (ERC20).

Stackswap Cross Chain

For instructions on connecting your Stacks Wallet account on the Stackswap App, see this article.

Any user with a Hiro Wallet account, a supply of tokens, STX for transaction fees, as well as BTC, ETH, or USDC can swap tokens on the Cross-Chain swap function on the Stackswap App.

Navigate to the Cross-Chain page on the Stackswap App at https://app.stackswap.org/exchange.

External → Internal Swap

First, we will demonstrate how to do an external-to-internal swap (external meaning BTC, ETH, or USDC, internal meaning Stacks-based SIP tokens).

As shown above, the current options for external tokens are BTC, ETH, and USDC.

Select your external token and internal token. For this example, we have chosen to swap from BTC to STX. On Stackswap, the “To” field will be open to any tokens listed on the Stackswap token list.

Enter the amount of BTC (or external token) to swap into STX (or internal token). Be sure to double check your amount and wallet address. If this information is filled out incorrectly, you may risk losing the funds in the swapping process.

After confirming details, complete the transfer following the steps on the screen. For this example, we would have to transfer 3 BTC to the corresponding BTC wallet address.

After following all the steps necessary, check on the status of your cross-chain transfer in “My Tx List.”

Internal → External Swap

Next, we will demonstrate how to do an internal-to-external swap.

In this example we will execute a STX to BTC swap.

Select the token to switch from the token list. All tokens listed on Stackswap will be available for cross-chain swaps.

Carefully enter the amount and correct wallet address to receive your BTC, ETH, or USDC. Be sure to double check your amount and wallet address. If this information is filled out incorrectly, you may risk losing the funds in the swapping process.

After checking the correct wallet address, click “Confirmed & Run Exchange”.

Confirm your transaction through the Leather Wallet web extension or Xverse App.

Congratulations! That’s how easy it is to execute a cross-chain swap on Stackswap.
